Photography Adventures

So starting from now on, I will be doing a segment about my photography adventures. When I learn more about cameras, so do you! So check back every week for my special edition.

Today's Edition is: ISO.

For all you point-and-shooters don't bother reading on (just go to Best Buy, get yourself a digital SLR, then come back and read this).

ISO is basically your camera sensitivity to light. For a majority of situations, your ISO should be set to around 100-200 depending on your type of camera. But sometimes, when its dark outside and your flash is not enough, you may have to bump it up a couple notches. Of couse, keep in mind that the more you bump up your ISO, the lower the quality of your picture (this is refered to as "image noise").

I'm Going Extinct- Or Am I?

Warning: I am a redhead....(trust me it will make sense later on)

A study was done saying htat Red heads are the most stereotyped and maligned people versus any other hair color (more than you blondes). Heard the phrase, "the read-headed stepchild." Another fun fact: REDHEADS ARE NOT GOING EXTINCT! Whoecer started this rumor must be on someting, because we are not going extinct. The gene of a readhead is a recessive and mutated gene. Meaning anyone could be redhead, even if their parents are not. So long as their parents posses the recessive gene reaquried to make redhair. Theoretically, redheads could beome extinct, but then of course all of us could become mouth breathers too.

There is also the fact that there are fewer reheads thatn any  other hair color. Seriously, how many redheads do you know compared to all other hair colors, and I mean natural redheads (dyed does NOT count).

So now I officially love my hair!!

Are you a terrorist- WII WII

The TSA has been experimenting withe the WII balance board as a way to spot Terrorists. The board would be used to detect if someone was fidgeting, which is a sign of nervousness. So start practicing all you terrorists! OH, and to everyone else, try not to fidget when you get scanned, no one wants to be accused of being a terrorist (or pulled into that glass box for further interrogation- you might be late for your flight!)

Want to Invest- Become Chinese!! So Simple!!

So to all of you millions and millions of people who had been dying to invest in the Chinese gaming market, looks like you can no longer do so. The Chinese government ahs banned foreign investment. No surprise, considering the Chinese technological empire is enormous. Not to mention, some expect the sixe of the Chinese gaming empire to expand 30-50% within a couple of years. leave it to the CHinese to tighten their control at our expense.

There's a SNow Leopard on te Loose!

Some users have been complaining that they are losing their account information on Apple's new operating systemwhen they attempt to move their data to a Guest account. Only a small number of people have ocmplained of a loss of account information. But of course, Apple is on the move and wil no doubt have the problem fixed before you know it. No fear, Mac is here!

Guess what- There's nother e-book!!

Surprised of course, I am sure you jknow by now that whne one company invents something that is successful, all other corporations decide to joing in on the fun. So of course it makes sense that Disney should have their own right?

Well it sort of does because Disney's version is PG. With click able words to get definition, there are also voices, music, and sound effects. The Disney classics will be available online with one year subscription for $79. Keep in mind, these books can't be downloaded into your E Reader, so you need your computer an internet access to be able to view the books. What do you think?

Bringing Sansen-Back

Accorind to Variety Magazine casting has been completed for the movie about the making fo the oh-so famous website "Facebook." Casting includes such stars as Jesse Isenburg as the founder, Andrew Garfiel will play co-founder, and Justing timberlake will play the founder of Nabster. It gets even better ; the movie will be called "The ocial network." Honestly I could not imagine anyone in their right minds paying $11 to see this movie, but I guess we will just have to wait and see...

But I hate waiting.

Hold on I need to grab a snack

Details have just been released about the new PS3 wireless controller, which is actually not yet on sale. Unfortunately they did not commit to a date when they announced the remote in June. the remote will be compatible with Games like Little Big Planet and Resident Evil5. So not much of a detail, but at least they are giving us something!
Or not...

GUESS WHAT???

I know we all love to hear when there is a new invention....but guess what - there isn't. Apple is among the many to jump on the electronic reader bandwagon, with rumors of their own tablet. So if you notice text (written books versus audio), just saying: you were warned!

Paranormal(ar) Activity

So I am assuming we all LOVED, just LOVED paranormal activity, right? (No need to answer, I can already guess). But, lets just assume that we all loved that movie, and we all cant wait to hear what I have to say.

THERE'S A SEQUAL!!! Isn't your radically improved (no need to answer that either)?? Well I promise I wont be buying a ticket. How 'bout you?

PS3, TV, NETFLIX

Guess what?...for those of you with a PS3 and a Netflix subscription you can now watch TV and videos on your PS3. If you don't have a Netflix subscription- don't worry. For only $8.89 a month you can have one too!!!
In November this is all for you. Oh, and you will need a special instant streaming blu-raydisc, but lucky for you Netflix will send you one for free. Eventually it won't require a disc, but for now-who cares??

Get Ready set......change your passwords!!!

Yahoo, HotMail, GMail, Live, MSN were all hacked this past week.

As of yet, developers don't know how the accounts were hacked, but they suspect they were fished.
The Passwords and logins were hacked and posted on the internet...
So if you have one of those accounts, CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS PRONTO!!

P.S.-   I forgot to mention- this only applies to those living in England......so get to it Brits!!

We found water.....on the MOOONNNN!!!!!

As reported in The Journal of Science Scientist have discovered small amounts of water in the Moons surface. NASA scientist were shocked, and even checked the lunar probe to see for any faults.

Scientist hope this discovery will lead to Luar Bases, with new sources of drinking water....

So pack your bags for a trip to the moon......or not.....
